How about a RC-Monster Lipo for the Mini E-revo? -
05.12.2009, 01:34 PM
Mike, Can you get your lipo in a smaller size than 2600mah? I'm thinking if they could keep the performance and make it smaller, you could corner the market on quality batteries for the mini crowd.

exactly, you'll need to get in there quick before max-crap gets there
maxamps have a good feature though...waterproof (aka, plasti-dipped) lipo's.
cant be too adventagous to dip the end of the packs in plasti-dip before skrinking them?

Gonna have to sell my big neu powered e-revo soon or the wife is gonna flip out when she sees this.

Sike..I found this...hope it helps!
I have been to doing a lot of research on batteries for these new trucks.
The battery box is
101.9 x 35.5 x 20.3 MM (I got this from Traxxas)
Maxamps has batteries that will work, but I can't bring myself to spend 4 times the price, when I can get it for less.
Maxamps wants $74.99 for a 3s 1550 (25c) Mah battery.
Hobby City sells a similar battery (20c) for $15.95!
I can get 4 batteries for the price of one Maxamps. Even if 2 batteries go bad I still way ahead!.
All e rc has some 2s 2200 Mah that will fit.
Has anyone else found any Lipo batteries that will fit?
Its really hard to trust most websites information on battery size is correct.
Most batteries I have found are 20mm and the battery box is 20.3 mm, so it should fit if the dimensions are correct.
Any input would be great.

I just measured mine with my calipers and got 102.6mm x 34.3mm x 20.6mm. It is not an exact science to measure the opening though as the plastic flexes a bit if you apply much pressure. Also, the bumpout on the battery door isn't the easiest to figure out where to measure the depth on it.

MaxAmps prices have went through the roof!!! I have a 2s 1550mah for my RC18T also run in a Losi mini late-model, but when I bought it about a year ago it cost me about $32. I will say that this MA pack hasn't given me any problems. I won't buy another one with there new prices though!

As long as the specs are correct, this Hyperion pack should fit nicely:
http://www.allerc.com/product_info.p...oducts_id=4649
Specs say it's 84.7mm x 27.8mm x 17.9mm
It's 1800mAh, 35C and for $30.95 looks like a pretty good deal (when they're in stock, that is).
