So about upgrades... - 07.02.2009, 07:55 PM

Well im going to have about $70 bucks to spend on my 8ight-t. Im wondering what a good upgrade for it would be? Specs are as follows.

8ight-t 1.0 race roller
CC Mamba Monster 2200kv combo
3- 4s1p 5000mah batteries
Futaba 3pk
Hitec servos
Boca Bearing Orange seals all around (unopened yet)

Just wonder what is a good all around upgrade. Will teh 2.0 shock towers allow me to run the 2.0 body? I was also considering hub carriers and hubs. Thoughts Suggestions.

FS: 8ight-t Race Roller TONS of UPGRADES

8ight 1.0 & 2.0 | 8ight-T 1.0 & 2.0 | E-Revo BL Edition | T-Maxx | Slash | Raze-ST | XXX-NT Drake | 3PKS | DX3S Telemetry

i would use that money for a set of bashing tires. honestly, the tires i would get would be savage tires (4.6 and flux) and i would use those for on-road and the stock pin-tires for grass and off-road. also, the big savage tires make it easy to backflip off ramps or even without a ramp.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

I like the idea of the smart diff as a center diff, so I plan to get one for my muggy. Supposedly it helps to put the power down evenly (less front tire ballooning) but acts like a completely open diff during off power situations, like cornering. Not sure what it will do during braking... I guess it locks up again?

yes it locks up on braking james, i have one in the 2.0, i still get some ballooning, but not much, and it rotates sweet off power
