My G4 Gorillamaxx KD 700-HO - 03.31.2010, 11:24 AM

I wanted to post the virtually finished product. Started out last summer with a stock 3905 knowing nothing about RC. I wanted to thank everyone who helped me with information on this site. I posted it in the Traxxas forum also. They were kind enough to point out my rear body post is on the front and I can't believe I put the wheels on wrong.
Anyway, thanks again everyone for the great information and help! It is an absolute beast and still waterproof.

What shocks and bulkheads did you use?

Looks good!

Looks like rpm towers to me. Bulks are al, maybe integy, or better yet, new era! The shocks appear to be ebayish, maybe 3racing?

Shock towers are RPM, along with the front arms. Rear arms didn't break yet. :) Bulkheads are FLM along with the skid plates. The shocks are ebayed from Hong Kong, think it said boomboomracing. Picked the shocks for the looks but am actually really impressed with how they perform. I only have the stock ones to compare them too, but it is really difficult to roll now, which amazed me.
