He just had it anodized.

Mike did make a run of a couple that were anodized blue. He didn't like the way the anodizing turned out so he didn't post them for sale in the store. When he was out of his mounts for the X1 CRT, I emailed him and asked if he had any. I ended up picking up a blue mount. It looks killer. I would agree that the anodizing didn't turn out the best. It was thick and thin in spots. But it was different and looked good.

That sucks that it came out crappy. It would of been cool having a color choice.
