savage problem is not diff strenght. its bulkheads. they develop quite a play very fast leading to diff failure. you either need to reshim them once every few runs or get FLM hybrids.
every diff will fail if it has too much play. seen mugen diffs fail as bulheads did allow quite a lot of play. however in this case it was after 15 races :)

the spiral cut diff gears in your lsp are bullet proof if you shim them right i have been useing them for years with no failures

I never have problems with wear, Gone thru many bearings though !
I have problems eating gears when I brake the outside diff case under extreme jumps. I was thinking the straight cut gears would hold up better after the case breaks. The spiral cut gears always get the tore up on the ends.
I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.
I like how they "recommend" swapping out both at the same time. The ratios are different from 9/29 to 13/43. Not a huge difference but this truck does not have a center diff, so one set of tires will turn fast than the others... 3.22 vs 3.31.
I do agree that bulkhead flexing is a big issue. Either the flm or gh bulks would cure that. I will probably get a pair of these diffs for my 5th scale savage build, along with the al bulks it should help with the extra weight... Hopefully!

how often do you servise your bearings?
i went to wala wala cermaics after i had a stock bearing fail and since then i havent ever had a diff fail, mine is used for bashing too
