What's your favorite paint schemes? - 02.17.2006, 11:21 PM

So I'm interested to here what everyone has to say about their favorite paint schemes. What color combos do you prefer? How many colors is to many? Are you big on decals or just a plain jane body?

Also lets here what wild and crazy scheme you've always wanted to do but have not done yet.

Enjoy!! :)

I'm in the process of painting a new body. Will post some pics when its done :) I prefer to keep designs simple, otherwise I'd always be afraid of ruining it!

My favorite scheme is any one done by someone else - I dont have the patience for painting - :005: I get too frustrated with it - There is some guy at the local track that paints bodies for me now - He loves doing it and it shows in the paint jobs.... As for me - Ahhhh No.... Until i can figure out how to make finger painting look good that is.....

It does take a lot of time and effort to paint a body. It took me the best part of a day to prep (masks and internal decals), paint, back, cut out, mark out a drill holes, put on decals. Still I find it very rewarding

It actually is quite kool the way they turn out when properly prepped and painted. I wish i had the patience to do it - When i did my own they were very complicated - 1 color with window masks - 5 mins tops -not very rewarding....

I seen some bodies on Ebay with the true fire paint jobs that i love. But the ones i paint myself are a chezoom teal and racer blue fade

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

www.adrcracing.com can make some super sweet true flame bodies, by far one of my favorite schemes ever is the true fire on a all black body. He made a Silverado with that design, looked amazing.
