Once I buy a UBEC, do I still need a RX switch? - 03.07.2006, 11:09 PM

My MX-3 came with a on/off switch for my RX system. If I buy a UBEC, I don't need that switch anymore right?

No, it's not necesarry (the switch). You will just have to keep unpluging the UBEC from the receiver though, so I just kept my switch.

If you solder the UBEC to the controller's input wires, then you can just use the battery connector as a switch.

You don't need the switch. I find some times i like it some time i don't. Either way if you let the truck set for a while you have to unplug the batteries.
