Thinkin of starting a Louisiana Based RC forum -

well i've been pondering starting a Forum for awhile now.. based just for people in Louisiana to bring the people closer.. and hopefully some day build a spot for everyone to bash/race.. just a thought.. i'd be doing this on my free time.. and on a free server as i have no money to put into it yet.. im just getting ideas from people on how hard it is to build and maintain a forum.. what kinda of things i should put in the forum and whatnot.. i dunno i get bored driving my truck alone there has to be people close to me that drive RC im just determind to find them! lol.. any ideas from anyone?

Put an advert in your local paper or craigslist etc, see if you can locate any nearby people. Not much use having a forum if there isnt actually anyone to visit it from only the local area ( no r/cers = no forum members)...
