4sets of lipos= runtime ?

I think i'll order 4pairs om zippy 3s 5000mah 40c packs for my flux
How mutch runtime do you guy's think i'll get from these 4 pairs of lipos ? geared for 45mph ish ?

So you will be running 6s..correct. If so, depending on throttle managment, driving style, etc....15+ mins. is not out of the question.

No more than 15min ?? what if i gear it for like 35-40mph ?
and yes i'll be rung 2s 3s i series so 6s tot !

I'm not going to run the stock gearing !! I think i'll try a 16t pinion istead of the 20t stock one !

Could i get more runtime if i replace the stock 2200kv motor for like an 1500kv motor ? a neu or tekin

I think 15 mins is a bit low... My 6s 1521 1y setups get about 20-25min on a 4500 6s 30c lipo... If I run hard it is more like 20 mins, but mixed bashing usually gets me closer to 25. Geared for 40 mph and running 6s the load will be reasonably low, so temps should be good as well. I would guess easily 20 mins, and more like 25mins per pair. So 4 times that for all 8 packs.

Would 2x 7s A123 2300mah cells (4600MAH) be any good in a flux ? That pack chould be able to habndle 120A cont and 300A burst right ?

straight track running on a big track will get you 15-18min. IMHO..and thats continuous driving with zero crashing...for bashing you should get at least 20-25 min...you'd be surprised at how long 15-18min is...even 20-25min.........i think having 4 sets of lipos is perfect...but thats just my experience.....and since your geared for 45mph..you'll most likely break something before you run down ALL your packs if your doing crazy bashing in a flux...or you might even get bored .. lol

6s geared for 40-45 MPH should get you 20 minutes without a doubt, unless you're doing a LOT of hard accelerating in which case your battery life will be reduced (as will the lifespan of your ESC and motor). Keep an eye on your motor temps when running for that long continuously, it's sure to get a little toasty.

Just bashing around I would get up in the 45 minutes with Old reliable.
It was only gear for 30s and on 4s with a 1512 2.5d neu.
I ran it on a 80b quark with out heat issues.
I ran max amps 6000 and 8000 packs.
