I knew something was up - m little boy, 8yrs, broke his arm this week and last night he was up 5 times throwing up. First time, always the worst, was all over the carpeted stairs.
So we both are miserable with very little sleep as well.
Anyway, bring it on. Yesterday was also a shitty day at work with not much going my way with fixing a blood counter too.
Let got on with starting the new - whatever it is going to be for us.

Dear God
I have decided not to take part in the Rapture, the dates not good for me sorry, a monday or a tuesday would be much more fitting than my only day off.
thanks

Well the supposed time for the rapture has come and gone in my part of the world. Today was the nicest day we had for a long time. So nice that I decided not to stay in the house. Had to take the dog and a couple of RCs to the park with me. Me and the dog had an absolute ball of a day. If this is meant to be the start to a rapture I say "Bring it on!".

Funny part is, there is an end. It's a scientific FACT that all matter is in a state of constant decay.
The only real question is how end when. From there it's only a matter of how you conduct yourself while you're waiting.
For ME I know it will end on or before 2075 (I would be 100), but suspect a more realistic 2055 (80 years old)... That gives me roughly 44 more years to walk the earth.
Going to go to the drag races with my wife this weekend :-)
If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

The end is near. -

Yes the end is near. It is at least nearer than it was yesterday. So sure the world will end as we know it at some point in history, and who is really to say when that is. All planets, suns, and astronomical bodies reach the point of implosion, or explosion, but anything beyond that is purly guess work at best. Live you life the best way you know how. Be kind, be respectful, and treat others the way you wish to be treated. If you belive in God (whoever that may be) than worship them in a way befitting to your religion. Live your life as if it will end every day and be happy for the life you have today.
Randy "The Macho Man" Savage was killed in an auto accident yesterday for those of you who had not heard. We are all going to die. And yes it may not be when you expect it to be. How do you want to go out, and how do you want to be remembered? "Deadbeat loser", "Loving husband & father", "Kind & gentle man", "Arogant asshole", "Lower than wale turds". The choice is yours to make.

Question of the day, or possibly for the rest of our days....If you buy party supplies for tonights end of times rapture thing, can we reuse the same supplies for the Mayan end of the world party next year??

No of course not silly man, because they will be destroyed in the massive Earthquake this week that will destroy the entire world. There won't be anything left for you to re-use.

Randy died just a few miles from me, he had somewhat of a tanted history here in town. These last 5+ yrs he's made the biggest effort of being a decent person to fellow residents/fans. He was a serious pompus tool in person, and it's to dam bad he went like he did after making the effort he has these last few years to be a better person. I really feel for Liz, his wife, due to the circumstances of riding shotgun while her husband has a heart attack while driving. Thats a brutal deal.

Death is merely part of our programming, I'm sure it will eventually be worked around and defeated. No reason we have to age so quickly. Such a waste..
