30 series wheels for 1/8th scale truggy

so if i get 30 series wheels to go with 30 series badlands which are slightly taller than 1/8th scale 3.7 badlands, both w/ 17mm hexs will i have any probs?

all i find for badlands are 1/8th scale buggy tires, they seem skinny to me

They just use standard diameter (3.2") MT/Truggy wheels.

30 Series badlands are for 1/10 trucks, very close to 1/8 buggy badlands.

They will be WAY to small for a 1/8 truggy. Get the ones linked above...

it was my understanding that they were too big of a diameter for truggys, or does everyone that runs badlands on a truggy use mt badlands

No way! They're perfect...about 0.2-0.3" larger diameter than Pro-Line LPR's.

ok perfect thats what i'm getting rc8t ft w mikes conv mmm/ccneu, what offset am i looking for? for the badlands as my basher set.

also i heard you could stretch them over 3.7 " wheels , is that true or was it something else

Yes you can stretch them onto 3.7 rims. I have done this to my MT badlands onto the rulux half ups. Very popular combo of tire and rim but I didnt like it for harder packed dirt.

I have just setup some Losi zombie maxx tires onto the rulux half ups as well. I would think any MT size (3.2") tire could be stretched onto a larger rim (3.7 lprs or "half ups") with a little patience and muscle. Its more of a pain to get the foam around without ripping than stretching the rubber tire...

Oh and I went for half offset.

new question, is 133 oz of torque enough for a steering servo or should i upgrade, it's just what i have on hand hitec hs-5625mg

It's probably ok, but I would suggest something with more torque. 200inoz or more would be much better though.

Any standard size servo will work fine.
