You know, you really don't appreciate it much until you don't have it... - 03.03.2010, 09:00 PM

Those who saw my thread regarding my school project will know that I'm building something for school that has a due date of next Thursday.

Well, I ordered Axial AX10 axles and they were too large, so I ordered some smaller axles off RC4WD. I've heard of them, but not much more. I was wondering if I ordered them if they would arrive in time. After some searching, I found that they take 2-3 days to process and ship your order. I chose priority mail (2-3 days) and ordered on Sunday so I figure it was guaranteed to arrive by the weekend (they are in San Jose, CA and I'm in Huntington Beach, a mere 350 miles away).

Well, it's Wed (3 days later) and my order still said pending. I sent an email to them and they said my order is due to ship Friday? WHAT THE HELL!? 5 days after I placed it!!!

So now I have to put my project together in a few days before the due date during the week (which happens to me last week of school so I'll have a TON of stuff due and no doubt be busy as hell) rather than slowly complete it over the course of the weekend.

Needless to say I'm pissed.

End rant.

What you should all take from this is to appreciate Mike's stellar customer service and same/next day shipping. Props to the man.
