Tekin 2000kv in Aftershock? - 04.07.2010, 12:10 AM

Does any of you have any experience with the Tekin RX8/2000 kv truggy combo in an Aftershock/LST?

So far I have ran the MMM/2200 combo, which I have now sold.

So the question is actually if the RX8 can handle the weight from the Aftershock.

On 6s geared lower it should work.

Might want to stick with lighter wheels and tires.

I found a 1521 1y on 6s would allow pretty much any tire choice. And the tekin is 1515 sized.

So on 4 and 5s it would be better to stick with the MMM combo?

I used the MMM/2200 on 5s in a lst and it did fine, but I was running truggy tires on it. How hot does it get in Denmark?

I used to run the MMM/2200 combo as well, but threw it in my Savage, which I have now sold, so just wondered if the RX8 combos would do any good in it, now that I have to buy a new brushless combo.

In Denmark the temperatures rarely hit the late 80´s, but in the summer normally +/- 70 degrees.

I run the truck on Proline 40 series Moabs.
