Warrranty Repair (Sidewinder) - 04.06.2010, 11:26 AM

How long is the warranty for a Sidewinder ESC? I got mine new about 3 to 4 months ago, and yesterday it stopped working. I checked the motor & RX but the problem is the ESC. Running in a Slash 2wd with VXL motor and on 7 cell NIMH. When I plug the ESC in the green and yellow LED flash but the motor will not move. The steering does work. I also tried a diff RX and same thing.

I also tried to re-calibrate the ESC to RX

Standard 12 month warrenty I believe. That said:

"Flashing Green and Yellow = low voltage cut-off(battery)"

I'd check your esc settings & a few different batts, just in case...

When in doubt, re-flash the firmware.

Try hitting it with a hammer, repeatedly till the offending smoke comes out. Or use the search button, I have heard that works wonders.
