I'm so depressed -
04.17.2010, 04:17 AM
Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel , "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."
Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land."
Now Obama has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!
I was so depressed last night thinking about Health Care Plans, the economy, the wars, lost jobs, savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc . . . I called Lifeline. Got a call center in Pakistan. I told them I was suicidal.
They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck....

04.17.2010, 09:57 AM
Just a little bit warpped don't you think. I have to admit that I was laughing my @$$ off reading it though, because it all makes sense with the way things have gone over that period of time up to now. Talk about a revalation. Very funny punn.

I'm really glad Roosevelt changed that slogan. The things people will mount when they are roaming around the desert.

Lol pretty funny
I wonder what Bush would have said..:
"I have seen the Promised Land, and I dream we all can grab our shovels and plow the asses of our camels!"

Here is a story I heard.
A little boy, about 10 wants to buy his sick mother a nice present. He needs $100 to get it. So he decides to write God a letter and ask him for the money. So he does.
The employees at the post office are touched and send it to the White House.
Obama reads the letter and is touched himself. He orders his staff to send the little boy $20 dollars, believing that this would be a lot to a young boy.
The little boy gets a letter and opens it to find the 20 dollars, but he is somewhat disappointed. Never the less he is grateful and sits down to write God a thank you letter.
He tells God how grateful he is for the money, but he noticed the Washington DC post mark. At the close of his letter he says....."and God can you believe those bastards in Washington taxed it 80%!"
