Just another buggy conversion -

Here are some pics of my MBX5.
The pics really don't do it any justice, especially the paint job looks much better in real live.
I got it used from Starscream, and gave it a good make-over.

No, paint job was done by a friend of Starscream.
But the wiring is my job...wait, what wires? :004:

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Yeah, and/or 5S. And a 1950/8.
A much smaller motor would do in a buggy, but it's just "too light" with lipos, so I had to compensate with a heavy motor. LOL

Could you get a close-up of the motor mount? It looks very nice and clean BTW.

A close up of the mount? Not a problem, but it might take some time. I need to borrow a digicam. Maybe over the weekend, okay?
Thanks for the comments!
I like the wiring job a lot, will be hard to surpass it on the G3R.

Wow, pure sweetness! For some reason I thought you'd finished this already, not sure why, but good to hear it'll be running soon.

It IS running, I use it to test different motors. But unfortunately it is still too cold for Lipos here, so I have to make do with my Nickel cells.
And yeah, it WAS running a while back, but with a mess of a wire job... can't have this, gave me sleepless nights ;)
And yeah, Leroy, this chassis is a custom job. Done by Starscream, I just added some bends and the black color.
