Got to brag on Castles Customer service - 08.12.2010, 06:57 PM

I DL'ed the castle link with 1.27 mamba max update and bricked my mamba max, I DL'ed the 3.255 with the 1.28 update but the USB support wouldn't allow me to update the mamba. I posted here about my problem, Thomas ProfortTold me in a PM to send my mailing info and a copy of his PM to Dena at Castle Creations. I got a castle link the other day and unbricked my mamba max, I left it on 1.24 till today. The new revision is now available (1.29) and it works great, I have not tryed the torque control yet, but am sure it's going to work good as well

Sorry for the long post, but needed to let people know that castle is there for everyone even a 3+ year old mamba max

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Yep, last year when I took my Flux Tork motor apart I either lost or didn't get a small brass spacer and also found one of the bearings getting bad. Patrick sent me a new spacer and brand new endbell cap with new bearing free of charge! A+++ to these guys all the way! Only HPI matchs their customer service!

Like i said, they helped me with a 3+year old mamba max. It's been through hell in it's life, From over-gearing to 5s and 7 and 9xl fegaio's (This was one of my first Brushless esc's). From everything i have seen, I'll stick with castle for my esc needs from now on

Castle Creations, excellent customer support and service. - 08.16.2010, 09:05 PM

Castle Creations tech support and customer service is top notch. Extreemly knowledgable and always ready to help. I especially like the 12month waranty on all motors and speed controls. That's very rare with electric motors and speed controls, especially when it comes to motors and esc's available for 1/8th scale.

I have run Mambas and MMM and everytime I see a new cheap controller hit the market, I get excited until I read the reviews. Generally everyone is complaining about how they dont work and they cant send them back. Castle has always taken care of my warranty repairs in a quick and timely manner. When you throw in the fact we can program these on the computer and all of the adjustability you get and that they are constantly trying to improve their controllers with updates, you cant beat the price or performance. They have my business for anything RC related.

Yeah, castle creations is 100% awesome. Most people don't know this but castle is basically run by the engineers. That's the way they explained it to me, when I had asked them how and why they're company stood out so much from the others. My carbon fiber Hyper 9e is so light, I've been running a 1409 1Y 3600kv motor in it, with the Mamba Monster speed control, on one 2cell= fast, or one 3cell= absolutely insane fast. I just received my sensored Mamba Max Pro esc, and I'm now looking for a lighter weight, smaller sensored motor to run in this buggy as well.

Thank you for posting your experience with castle on this thread. I know castle is not perfect, but they sure are close :)

Thanks, I understand the issues castles had in the past, mostly in parts defects. But they have always came through in the end for the customer, if given the chance. My mamba max is three years old, they could have said you are SOL but they didn't, thats why i plan to stick with them. Even if i get a couple bad esc's, I know i'm covered
