Hyper ST batttery tray

posted this over in the questions section but here just in case

Looking to get a battery tray for my hyper ST conversion - using tunigy 5000 lipos so size's are approx
length 143
Height 49
Width 33

Ideally looking to place battery forward on the chassis - what are you all using

lve got a HOBBY PRO BRUSHLESS CONVERSION KIT FOR HOBAO in my hyper 8, the length is about 153mm long and about 55mm wide, l use my 11.1v lipos nd they fit nice and snug with the velcro straps

Since the hyper st is so narrow, I used mbx6 mudguards to widen it for more battery room. Then I used the RCM D8T tray, IMO a poor fit, had to file a lot under the tray. I think the RCM mbx6t tray would be better but now its ok with the modified tray.

You could also stand the battery o n the side in a narrow tray. A little higher CG but much more centralized weight. Then I would custom order it to your specs from RCM.
