Has anyone had any luck with the ofna lx1e? Is it durable? I dont really care about handling and stuff like that because i would only be bashing it. I would rather get the vorza but finding one as just a roller is next to impossible. How do the 2 compare durability wise? Any other opinions? Thanks.

The LX-1E is a Great Basher! Especially when you can get it New & shipped for about $165 Got my dad one for christmas and he beats on it pretty good... And yeah you can fit 2 - 3s 5000mah (6s) packs in no problem. My dad runs that setup.

Well my dad is a 'Member' at Tower Hobbies. Free Shipping and $30 coupon. They had it listed for $190.

Even still they have coupons for Non-members... Just not as good

the vorza is more durable, but the lx-1-E is a good car too.

just a side note...the lx-1-e can bend chassis' if you constantly land on the ass of it without a rear bumper. for me, i do alot of very heavy bashing and some pretty gnarly high jumping and every 1/8 buggy i own i run t-bone bumpers. (front and rear)

imo, it's a must for the lx-1-e. if you're not an experienced jumper, make sure you know how to land or parts will become very expensive. it's not the most durable 1/8 buggy out there, but if you know how to jump you'll probably never have any issues.

there are some other hop ups some people do like the 8ight shocks, but if you're just bashing and not track racing it's not entirely necessary.

pulled the trigger on the lx1e today. Hopefully it will hold up, and if not then its only 180 bucks lol

it's pretty dam durable..i would regularly launch mine 40-50 feet in the air and as long as it lands on it's wheels, you're good to go!

seriously though...get the t-bone bumpers if you can...they are great investments.

Well i got the buggy today. Looks nice but have just a few complaints. They say it is built for and suggested to use the CC MMM, but the tray is too small for the MMM to fit and the wires are too short. In order for the motor wires to reach the speed control it has to be positioned to where the wire for the reciever will not reach if it is ran the way they show in the instructions. i had to run the reciever plug wire under the front drive shaft instead of over it and through the little "bridge" thing. There is no place to mount the switch. Also removal of the reciever box lid is impossible unless you take the horn off the steering servo first. And the reciever box itself is very short and i cant get the lid on it with the reciever in and the wires plugged in. My new radio does not show up till friday so i am using my radio and reciever from my flux. Hopefully the new reciever will be able to fit.

Anyone else have these problems?
