I want speed! - 04.16.2006, 04:48 AM

i have a bl rustler (novak 4.5) not fast enough. i have taken out as much weight as possible and are currently running 2s lipo. i want to be able to double up on my batteries, meaning use two 2s lipos for speed runs and be able to go back to one 2s lipo for the track. i've searched the threads and got alot of useful info but the more i read on the more indecisive i become on a combo bl esc controller and motor. help me out guys i want to be able to run 50 mph for more than just a few passes with out cooking anything, thanks!

I suggest the Mtroniks Pro with a Feigao 540 12s motor. On 4s lipo, you should be able to hit 60mph, and on 2s, you can still be at probably 35 mph if you gear up a bit.

I use an 8S with a 9920 on 3S lipo.. It FLIES! as long as the car holds up. This is on a RC10t2 you need a 4wd to keep this power in line.

I'll second what cart213 said, that's the setup I run in my Rustler, but with a different controller. My Rustler is highly modified, and there's no way that I can keep control except in a straight line!
