I need a test controller and I don't have another option at the moment. But for kicks, I am going to ask the question, can a Mamba max be used as a test controller for the Monster 2200kv motor. I am testing a new install and I need a viable controller to do so. Thanks.

For 4s I take it? 6s would likely smoke it, but some have done it. You will need a BEC and remove the red wire from the ESC receiver plug.

It has already been modified with a Castle Bec. Tested it tonight and it worked well. Need to make some modifications to the motor mount but prelim tests indicate a go.

Back in the day (lol) most of us used them on 4s on truggies and buggies on 4s with a BEC and a fan. They also needed or liked an extra cap bank.
You can sometimes get away with 5s but might need to take a little out if the pack.

I know 4s is the upper limit now, but when the MM first came out, i abused two of them by running 5s on 7 and 9xl fegaio motors. they really took a beating. If you have the newer versions of the programming, they may be limited to 3s by the software
