thats pretty funny! what would make it better is 2 jumps at the intersection so they would collide in the air

I raced on the track you are talking about 20 yrs. ago...After the race we all laughing as it was the most fun most of us had had in a long time racing . All of us broke something during that race. The way it was laid out was the jumps were 3' off the ground and 15' apart so you had to land on the other ramp. The ramps were 6-8' across so there was not a lot of room for error. 20 yrs. later I can still remember that race

"We haven't seen any contact for a while" ... BAM

Is that the stock Slash class? They aren't very quick, but they make a satisfying plasticky crunch when they hit each other!

Three things - 12.14.2010, 11:22 PM

I have three things to say about that video.

1) pretty tough trucks considering the abuse.
2) great to see all electric.
3) very entertaining if you ask me.

Watching that video was fun, and I bet all of the fans had a blast watching and driving in that race. That was nice. Thanks for sharing.

I actually used to race there, its the HobbyTownUSA in Tucson, Arizona, good place back in the day when the offroad track was larger. They banned 1/8 scales from their track, and put in the oval/figure 8 and made the offroad track smaller and put the drivers stand between the two, but since the banning of 1/8 scale cars from their track I really have no reason to go there anymore. I've been going there for the hobby shop for so many years now though they know me on a first name basis.

EDIT: I know its nitros, but just to give you an idea of what their track used to be -
