just bought an lst2! - 01.27.2011, 11:59 PM

So freakin excited for it to come in. It has almost every upgrade I would want to put on her too! rpm arms, BAC link, lunsford, 23mm, wing, brand new body, proline moabs on Cheyennes. another set of street tires. gear flip and foc in the tranny, new 590's which will be replaced with something with a little more balls, dual 650' (shame I just sold a couple too) its got rc raven springs aluminum side rails, HD center plate amongst other things as well!

Now I wonder if I should buy the losi conversion mount, or if I should go with the duders? Im also wondering if I should go with the new xxl chassis or stick with the stocker?

Losi conversion puts all the weight over the rear, not good IMO.

I have both the losi kit and the tdr mount. Tdr is the way to go, IMO.

I would suggest getting the 1 speed hub from tdr as well. That way you can ditch the stock mech brakes and servos, and mount a custom battery tray in front of the tranny. I have a thread somewhere where I build a lst2 and it has the optimum layout.

tdr it is!! Going to order it up tonight! For sure! Im still wondering if I should go with a 2200kv MMM motor or get the 1717? I keep hearing that the 2200kv motor is stupid fast! But I would never get it up to top speed anyways, thats not what the truck was meant for I guess!

That or the 1520. Pretty sure the 1717 are on sale still, so you cannot go wrong with the price. I have run the 1717 and a 1521 neu and they both rock. You will want to dial down the power on the 1717, but the MMM has plenty of adjustability so you will be good to go.
