Yep 1717, going to running 8S with a mamba xlv2 esc. Motor up front batteries in the rear ofna spider diff. The chassis is painted black with Eastwood chassis black ceramic paint cant wait to see if the paint holds up.
Thanks the 1717 should be ok only a little over rpm rating but I doubt that it will be at those rpm's for long big wheels heavy truck. Most of the time it will be run on 6s, not sure how much power the differentials will handle.
I've run 8s on a 1717 in a heavy savage no problem. The power is crazy stupid. Even 6s is insane. I do most running on 4s, it's just more controllable.

Thanks guys getting more work done today and a friend is dropping off a MGT 8.0 roller a payment for some work I did for him. The shocks are stock Cen shocks but i'm running heavy weight springs on one shock per corner, since the pics I have gone to running one spring per corner but both shocks to help with control with the big wheels. Will get more photos today
Got it up and running with cage and a 4000 6s pack it weighs 17 pounds and the 1717 still tosses it around. I have the motor and all electronics mounted up front and it will wheelie at half throttle. Going to try going down to a 40 series tire to lower the center of gravity and reduce load on the drive train, may loose the cage, looks cool stiffens every thing up but weighs a ton.
Got the 40 series and mounted up with proline trenchers that were tape inside. 6S is overpowered but 4S is great. Have a weird problem under hard acceleration the truck pulls to the right doesn't do it under lighter acceleration. I have gone through the alignment to see if that will fix it but it didn't help. Going to add thicker fluid to the front and rear diffs maybe its spinning one tire faster than he other.
