Game that comes with the FS GT-2 - 04.28.2011, 01:43 AM

Has anyone gotten the driving game to work on their computer? Ive got 2 of these now but can never seem to get it to work. When i plug the usb into my computer it loads some software but will never come up.

Where does it say that it comes with a game? I thought it just came with an adapter that lets you use it as a USB joystick/gamepad.

Its says on the box it comes with one track and training ground. I am assuming the software is built into the usb cord since it is pretty bulky on the computer end.

Odd. Seems like a good idea, but I have not seen anyone include software on a USB device. Almost always it's a CD or a download. And making that a Human Interface Device and a USB storage device would be rather complicated, especially to come with a $20 radio. Sure there's not a CD anywhere?

the end of the USB cord is semi transparent and i can see a circuit board and a few small wires in there. Not sure what else it would be for? No CD was included in the box.

If it looks like the USB adapter included with this radio:
http://www.hobbypartz.com/fs-gt2-24ghz-radio-black.html
then it is simply to allow you to use the transmitter as a gamepad (similar to an xbox controller or a PS2 controller) on your PC. The little 3.5mm plug goes into the DSC slot on the transmitter. Not sure if extra drivers are required for the USB or if Windows already has them.
