D8T motor mount/center diff mount - 07.15.2011, 08:20 PM

So I've been having a problem with my motor/center diff mount on my D8T.

My aluminum motor mount is slightly lower than the other side of the center diff mount, the plastic mount more towards the front of the truck.

What should I use to space the motor/center diff mount properly? I looks to be roughly 1/4-1/2". I had a smaller spacer in there before but it caused one of the screws to get loose and that caused mount to get loose and the pinion gear to strip.

Did the kit come with a spacer that I was suppose to install and maybe I just lost it?

Thanks for the help,
Nick

Well I'm going to answer my own question here. After looking at this again, I found that there is a shim that goes on the bottom of the stock front plastic diff mount and that can be removed.

So I can either take that one off or fit the other stock one to the aluminum RCM mount.

Hope this helps someone in the future.

Nick
