Need help with a power supply distribution box -
07.12.2011, 08:56 PM
Need to make a distribution box for my 12v PS.
I already have toggle switches, and some leds. What I am looking for is an enclosure, and some mountable 4mm female bullets.
Pretty sure I have seen both, just not sure what to call them.
The box needs to be about 4" tall, 4" deep and about 8" long. Black or silver plastic would be nice, but color is not really a big deal to me. Plastic construction would be best as it is easy to drill holes in.
The female 4mm bullets would need to have some sort of capture method to hold them in holes I would drill in the box. I think I have seen home stereo speakers with pugs like this, maybe?
I do not mind buying off ebay, or if any of you have parts you want to sell just hit me up.

OK, found these, step type binding posts. Not really binding posts, but they accept 4mm bullets and look good.

here is mine...the box I picked up at Radio shack. I made it for 2 chargers but had enough room for 3 if I wanted. Although inside the box the wiring is very tight. The posts were bought at McMasters I believe.

I have not. Still running hyperion, I have 2 610i and a 720i. And one of those 4 chanel cheapo HK chargers that charges the individual cells thru the balance plug. I would like a few duo chargers, but I do not have that kind of cheese and what I have works fine.
Just need to make a HK order and get some charge/balance adapters whipped up. My boats run 4s and 5s, with 2s and 3s packs in series, so nice to charge them up at once.

I need an adapter made to charge two 4s packs as a single 8s. (my e5b) Go ahead and add whatever you need to the order to accomplish that and send it to me when you are done. Thanks
edit: all jst-xh
