The flm handles very much like stock. It has the hi cog like stock just it is better on wheelies and jumping.

Peace!

Cheers for the quick reply,

so is it worth getting if its not greatly better than stock? it does look cool, i really like the sound of the gorillamaxx ext chassis tho for the handling but like a lot of people dont like the batteries down below the bodyline, Has anyone made a shield for the batt's ??

Do you know if the new gorillamaxx carbon battery straps fit the FLM chassis?

I think the carbon straps will fit but need moding to fit the flm. I have seen a few make a sheild for the batts. I never accually worried about it. Some bodies you find go lower than others so if you put the body mounts in the right place you can cover most of the batts up. The flm is tough though. I never had a problem one with bending or twisting. The gmaxx is tough but alot lighter as well. The gmaxx aluminum is same weight as stock. The extension may add a few grams.

I think the gmaxx is what i'll go for then if the flm chassis does'nt offer a mega difference in handling. I'm still gathering parts to create my ride so far
GA bulkheads
MIP cvd's all round
UE widetrak Arms
Hopefully proline powerstroke shocks

i've been busy on ebay got some blinding bargins!

ya I've notice that the g-maxx chass has gone up, but not mutch. I was cheking out the flmchassis and how it would look. I might have to get that. I have some deals on the g-maxx chassis but they still require the two top plates.

Does anyone have a exact weight of the flm? does it add alot of weight to your truck?
