What's New Guy's? - 12.27.2011, 11:16 PM

Its been forever and then some since I last logged on here. Ive been debating on getting back into the R/C scene again seeing as how my obsession with 1:1 is getting pretty pricey. Whats hot right now for new vehicles/BL conversions? Ive been out of the game for to long to even know. Your help could get me back in the game!

My suggestion would be the HPI Baja 5b with MosterMike's tricked out conversion kit, along with the CC electric upgrade. If you wish to go a little less money wise there are plenty of new rides on the market and conversions are getting less and less since everyone is creating brushless versions of just about everything.

From personal experience, I believe the hobby is still hot on the short course trend. At least locally it hasn't died down at all, in fact it is still growing. At the local carpet oval we are getting almost more short course entries than everything else combined.

Yeah, I agree with E-Revonut, it seems like everyone and their mother has a Slash/Blitz now-a-days. But if you want to build a respectable truck, the Revo/Savage is the way to go. They have a lot of solid hop-ups and they are very easy to work on.
