What category for a sort of Custom Stadium Truck project - 12.29.2011, 03:29 AM

Going through my storage shed, i found all the hard to find parts for a solid traxxas SRT, Including the battery box and the rear bulkhead, both near impossible to find. I am debating whether to build it stock, with carbon fiber chassis, or make a Jato/SRT hybrid (jato front with SRT from Battery box back). My problem is, Where would i put it so people can read it? If i do the Jato/SRT hybrid, the project X category would fit, But what about the SRT? Not sure the best place to put this. Thanks for any input

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

You could always breathe new life into the Jato forum!

That's a good idea, forgot about that one. Right now I'm leaning towards building an SRT, but with a twist. I got an idea for a suspension not tried before, it's supposed to mimic a jato without the Jato parts. Would it still be ok to run in the Jato forum?

I guess if you use a jato chassis and front.
It would be more Jato.
Pics would help as you progress.

Peace!

Well i am thinking of doing an SRT now, I got an idea for the suspension, that will allow it to mimic the jato in feel and travel. I'm either going to use the general discussion or the brushless area. Working through the basics in my head, will put something to paper and start the thread soon
