MMM fan - 11.12.2012, 11:34 AM

Guys, I need help. This is pissing me off to no end. I just can't get my fans to stay in one piece. One bash and I am missing blades. I know this is not the place for it but its happening on my RX8 too. I am at a loss. This has always seemed to be an issue but lately I can't get one decent day of bashing before I hear that dreaded clicking/grinding sound coming from my monster. I have tried several brands. I think the one that Tekin and Castle use is the same (at least it looks identical) and they seemed to be the better ones so far but even they don't last long. The Muchmore unit I tried last lasted less than one pack at the BMX track. Sick of it. Is there a better option out there? Its not the hassle of buying fans (I spend lots more on dumber stuff) but I just hate having to pull the case apart and change the fan almost every time I take my cars out. I am happy to pay decent coin if I could get a couple of months out of a fan. Have you guys used anything else?

What is your setup? And are things running cool enough to bypass the fan?

Don't even get me started on fans... I just replaced one in a MMP and it was DOA! All the hassle of removing esc from car and taking it apart, then putting all together and back in, and the stupid thing does not even work!
