LMT 1950/6 on 6's - 06.15.2006, 02:52 PM

Hello,

Im looking at a new setup and am considering a LMT 1950/6 Turn on 6's lipo's. I know it will run a little hot? but what sort of runtime/top speed would i be looking at with 3700 flight power lipos' and a medium weight Maxx. May be a 7-9 turn would be better ?

Thanks

on what truck?

and yes, the 6 turn is too hot for 6S lipo imo.

Try to aim at the 35000 rpm with the motor.

Hi, I decided to go with the 1950/8 and have sent mike my order, Just need to decide on a speed control now. Ive narrowed it down to the following, what do you think?

Quark 125
BK micro 20120
MGM 24/160

At the moment im thinking the MGM. I think it has a built in lipo cutoff? How does this work? slow's down the rpm's? flashing light? Total shutdown?

Thanks

The quark has built in cut off as well. The mgm has a programmible cut off so you can chose which one. The quark has adjustible voltage to where to cut off per cell. It self detects the cells. The quark has a cut back feature and then shut down cut off. You can tell when it is coming. The 9920 will run the 1950 8t. That is what I ran. It was great combo. I ran 6s limn and up to 20 nimhs.

Peace!
