Problem - 07.03.2006, 12:19 AM

Got my 9xl and quark 125 up and running on 16 cells. After about 15 minutes the truck seems not to respond to throttle. It would go and then have no response and then go again after 5 seconds or so of pulling the trigger. Motor=160, Esc=125. It was a little hot because I was running 20/51...I am going to switch to 16 pinion after this. Also, I chipped several teeth on the spur gear.

Any ideas what was wrong? Is this thermaling?

Did you check the top of the esc or the side? The top is plastic and the side is aluminum. I find the side is a bettter source for temp.

Peace!
