Max Amps Dispute!! - 11.10.2006, 04:09 PM

I ordered GP4300 7-cell packs on oct. 19! He kept asking me if I want the GP or IB, I said I ordered the GP! I got another reply and asked me about three more times.:019: Hey gave the lost reply I wanted to hear, I got the GP in and you just let me know If you want the IB's or GP's.:p I sayed the GP's. He shiped them out and 3 days later I opened the box and they were IB'S!!!!!!! I called Austin and he was very unhelpful. :035: Well I ended up seeing that I got the IB4200 WCE, so ended up being happy with them. :018: 1st time swiching plugs! It looks like I did a better job then Max Amps. Im charging the packs on a Intellipeak pulse and there peaking at 18.3.

dude, that is not cool to leave that kinda of feed back here. this is something that you should take up with austin. And to say he is not helpful, i think many here would disagree! Also, think there is more than meets the eye to what you are saying and what actually happened!!!!!

My experience is that Austin and his men know their way around with a soldering iron. I am critical.

He is very helpfull.

ya, its kinda rude, and plus i have ordered from there and many do on a regular basis, why do you think Mike cronnin himself stocks them and is in contact with him.
I think that they treated me like a queen.

While I agree with the sentiment, I don't think it's a good idea. We don't want to be known as one of those forums that deletes anything bad about the products the store carries. Rather, I'd like to see a reply post that E-maxx King worked with Maxamps to rectify the problem.

Yes, resolution! It just makes me sad is all.:012:
But it's not the product, and I doubt that after three clarifications, the wrong ones would be sent? And, he stated the product is awesome....enough said I guess.

Yeah, I personally don't like to see it either because the few dealings I've had with Austin went smoothly.

Brian is hitting the nail on the head.

According to the nature of RC-monster, i made the decision not to delete it, and I'll stick with it.

E-maxx King;

Sometimes it's hard to understand the way of acting.

I agree that if things went like you explained it would piss me off if i saw the IB's instead of the GP's like ordered/demanded.

Perhaps this is a case of an ironical misstake, and is someone else in the US unpacking his GP's instead of the IB's he ordered.

Another question;

Would you change the batteries from GP's to IB's if Austin offered?

I'm sure Austin would offer if the suggestion was handed to him. He let me trade my batts with no issues at all. But, I asked him if it was something he could do and he said yes. To me, that is customer service. Not every order you place with someone is going to be perfect. That is just the name of the game. It's how you deal with a resolution that makes the difference. And trust me, I have learned the hard way.

Hi Guys! Austin here.

So first off, the person that called me was not the young kid that made the post here but his mom. His mom called to tell me that we were horrible. I tried to reason with her and talk it through. I even offered a full refund and to allow here to keep the IB packs. She would not accept it and said that his father would be calling me to resolve it because she "just could not handle it". I asked her to have him call me right away. He never called. Sometimes there is absolutely no way to make a customer a happy one.

The young man that posted this was sure that he chose "12 awg" wire on the pack. We have never even had that as an option on the website.

E-Maxx King- I would love to handle your problem and do whatever it takes to make you happy, just like I told your mom on the phone. You just have to give me the opportunity to do so...

Best Regards,

Austin

I think that this last post just about sums it all up - Emaxx King - please discuss this with austin ( via pm or email ) and then post the resolution here. I agree with Serum in not deleting the post - even the most respected sites have slight hiccups with the customer service. Austin said that he would take care of this situation. Please give them the opportunity to resolve this.. Good Luck...

Hows that "Hope and Change" working out for Ya???
