hi, im in the us and i want a lehner motor without heving to deal with fine design. im specificaly looking for the 1930/40. if you know where to get one, any help would be great! thanks!
BBY sells Hackers, which are also 2 pole motors I believe.
And thats it, no-one in the USA seems to stock lehners, and I have a list of rc boat sites a mile long- its all feigao, neu or kb45 motors, no lehner to be seen.
You can contact these guys. This is who Lehner directed me to. They are in Germany. I have received a price from them but never ordered a motor. http://www.hydromarine.de/

I have a few hacker motors and I think that they are very good. I got all of mine used and they are much better than the new feigao motors I have tried. They stay much cooler and put out more power too. They do seem too pricey, but check hackers website as they have a specials page that usually have the b50 and c50 cans for sale.
The Hackers are excelent motors IMO. They run every bit as cool and strong as my Lehner and Neu motors. Only downside is the constuction is similar to the feiagos. Pressed end bells so you need to RC-monster heat sink, not to keep it cool, but to keep it from poping an end bell on a big jump.
I put a Hacker B50 10XL in my Xray XB8EC Buggy I just built. It runs stone cold on 5s. I bought mine used as well. I agree with the others, the price for them new is a little out of line. The can on the Lehner and Neu is far superior, but the windings and rotors are top notch. If you run across one for a decent price snag it up.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
