Check out my new shoes! - 02.23.2007, 04:39 AM

Got some new shoes for my Maxx.
They are the HPI Blast rims with the Phaltline tires. Handles great with them.

Here are some bigger pics.

And another.

This one too.

How 'bout a Naked one.

Compared to a stock Maxx rim.

Wide stance.

I think that is the hottest max I've seen to date. Any speed runs yet with the new tires? How is battery life with the dual brushless?

No speed runs yet with the new rims. Just up and down the street a few times. I usualy run it for about 20 minutes at a time so I havn't had them drain on me yet (not that your supposed to let them drain but you know what I meen).

No such thing as overkill in my opinion Mike.:027: But if I want to tone it down a bit, I do have a single BL Maxx as well.:dft012: And thanks for the compliments!

VERY nice rims Johnny! Are there any foams inside those? Those are some of the nicest rims ive seen.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

That thing is amazing. Awesome job with it. It must be hard to drive without wheelies with the dual motors.

Thanks guys.

Sylvester...Very low profile tires but yes, I do believe I feel foams in there.

Mike...Those are 24t pinions, and yes my friends, just in case you were wondering, that is a stock slipper!

RC...The thing does like to wheelie. Punch it from about 35-40mph and it still comes up.
I use this wheelie bar though for speed runs.

Did you make the wheely bar yourself? That is a very cool design. Not very many people do that. Looks to work well.

Yes, made the wheelie bar myself. It works really well, for street use only obviously.
Temps are fine. Might actually gear up a little more.
Rene, those are the Maximizer 17mm thingies I got from Mike.
