ext. cv's from UE are they long enough???

i have 1/8 scale diffs and flextek titanium suspension arms on my e maxx iv baught a few pairs of cv's already they were all to short does any one know if UE cv's will work w/this application??????????????:007: :032:

Chances are you bought Tsais and RDLogics it would seem...The UE's should work no problem. MIP as well, if I remember correctly.

Yes, they work. :) The MIPs are borderline too short(depends on shock travel), but the UE work pretty well. I will list the diff shafts in the store as well here in a couple days(from revo diffs). This will allow you to use standard drive cups in the 1/8 diffs(so any cvd would work, or even the stock drive shafts). :)

To make the UE cvd's work correctly you MUST run the UE drive cups. I just went thru this.

I have NOT found this to be the case. With FLM bulks, HB diffs and UE cvds, the pillow balls can be adjusted on the flextek suspension to work without the UE drive cups. Infact, the UE drive cups don't fit the HB diff cups, so I wouldn't bother in this case(shaft is too short and won't allow the inner pin to push through inside the cup without severe binding - I actually have a UE drive cup STUCK inside a HB diff cup from trying it). :)

i baught the UE cv's this will be my 3rd set of cv's all the other ones have been to short, ill find out in a couple of days when they delivered if they are long enough. i hope so,there has to be some cv's that will fit my truck some where on this planet!!!!!!$:030:
