That's pretty sick. It says it produces over 80lbs of thrust; I saw a video of castle creations testing a controler with a single Neu 22 series motor that produces like 90lbs of thrust or something...

I would think one motor would work better than 4 just because of losses/weight/etc. But that is pretty crazy.

Why waste $3000 when you could get one of those huge Lehner 3080s for under $800? I wonder what Hacker has been smoking...

haha I saw a prototype of this a few years, and asked the guy how much it cost, and I believe he said $30,000 from design to finish, but it was ALOT nicer looking than this final piece. interesting idea I think.
