FLM MAXX Shock towers. - 10.03.2007, 11:20 AM

Heya there. I'm making a list of things I want to buy and I have a few questions for you folks. The FLM Maxx shock towers come with both front and rear towers right? And will my 3.3 body post fit these towers or do I need the round 2.5 posts? Thanks for any help you can offer.

the 25 dollar price is just for one tower. i believe the newer ones accept 3.3 but the older ones use 2.5. my guess is that you will be getting some from the newer batch so i would think you might get the 3.3 ones but i am not 100 percent sure

UE RacerX Knucklehead shock towers are only $35 for a set. they take the 2.5 round body posts, but when i had them i ran the rc-raven body posts as they're cheap as dirt. the Knuckleheads give a lot of mounting options, and are very strong at 7075 aluminum.

i have about 4-6 NIP sets of the rc-raven posts in gray. PM me if interested.

one thing to keep in mind is that the UE towers come with nylon posts that can be cut to size. they're monstrous compared to the stock body mounts, but they not only have to be cut to size but also need the holes drilled.
