Ok, the MGT spur gear that came with the RR slipper kit I bought was a 54 tooth mod1 metal gear. I would suggest you buy a kit of your choice. Having everything is better than have to order twice. The peg system for the Emaxx Slipper is not enough to handle the amount of power you will have with the BL setup. Plus the Emaxx slipper kit is a 32 pitch instead of Mod1. The Emaxx slipper spur gear is one peice instead of a rotor plate attched to a spur gear. If you break a spur gear then you only replace a spur gear. Nothing else. The pegs system just melt instead of slip. The RR slipper pads work better. I had to tighten it as tight as I could get it for it to work. If I turned it out 1\4 turn like suggested it got so hot it melted the spur gear and slipped too much. You might be able to use the 54 tooth spur gear sent with the slipper kit if you have an 18 tooth pinion or smaller. I have a 20 tooth pinion gear. The 54 tooth spur gear will not fit with my pinion on the Emaxx transmission motor mount plate. So I modified the Ofna Spur gear to fit on the RR slipper rotor plate. The Ofna spur gear is setup for a 4 holed rotor plate (

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKLB1&P=7). 3 teeth smaller but runs great. I drilled out the 3 holes on the RR rotor plate to handle a larger bolt. The 3 screws sent in the kit were weak IMO. The heads stripped out easy. I then driller 3 holes in the Ofna spur gear using the rotor plate as a guide. Everything slides right onto the shaft on your Emaxx transmission. Some one said you have to file down the shaft a little to get the bearing to on but I didn’t have to. I used the bearing from the Emaxx slipper kit. I am not sure on using the RC10 GT. I have not tried it. Sorry I can’t show pictures. Camera is down.
