i finished my battery mounts and put them on and all, and finished a few other things so i could ATLEAST get a speed run out of it. Well i did. It was going pretty fast for FIRST gear. It wont shift. I have no clue why it wont shift into second. Anyone got an idea?

Perhaps the pawl is tightened too hard.. Or the pawl is stucked inside the aluminum part.. does it shift with the wheels spinning free in the air? (note; with electric you allmost don't hear it shift)

Did you tried adjusting the shifting point? with BL you can keep that point very low. (make it shift into 2nd at 15 mph or so)

My set screw was out. Fixed it, put thread lock, and it all works now. Thanks

Be carefull with those batteries touching the aluminum, i don't know what that orange stuf is that lies underneath them, but the batteries may not short with that aluminum. They can catch fire if they do. You mounted your motor nice and low..!

Looks good! Should be an incredible basher.

I use clear shrink wrap on my batts. Protects them and looks clean, too.

im going to shrink wrap my batteries, and put plastic dip on the aluminum. and also use velcro. So it will look much cleaner.

on 12 cells it can run a 30-35 mph. and with an impressive acceleration as well, because of it's 2 speed transmission.

Not with the stock tires.. They will balloon badly and put some serious stress on the drivetrain, because of the difference in diameter of the front/rear tires. it will need some serious playground to run it. Those tires get unstable at 40 mph+
