Now this ESC looks nice - 11.02.2007, 01:43 PM

Here is a post that I just saw in rcgroups:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...00#post8475735

Look at post #8 (#9 is mine BTW LOL) and you can see the program card says, "CAR/B". Since my controllers are not coming out soon, if this works in cars, we will have another HV controller to play with. This one looks good though. The heat sink like that was an idea I had for my controllers.

The heatsink is nice. Looks like an 80's car amplifier.

I like it a lot. Lucien said the car version will be available next year. The card is not a card, but a remote control. Awesome idea.

I will be doing beta car testing for Lucien and helping them with features and programming with the time comes. I have been bugging him about the ground controllers since he told me the ESCs were on slate :D They are a long ways off though, first Scorpion is going to solidify the entire range of air controllers before developing car controllers.

That is nice. Keep us all informed on how well it performs. Did you get my last PM?

Yea that remote control will be handy for me at dragraces. Reprogramming the mamba every other run during Test+Tune gets on my nerves...hard to see the laptop screen in the sun, Texas heat, removing the body over and over.

Indeed, it is a nice idea not to have to mess about with cables & laptops. It would be nice if the remote was more like a PDA, with throttle curves you could adjust and drag down with the little stylus thing.... that would be a gadget lovers dream.
