Aluminum hopups - 07.10.2005, 08:39 PM

My B4 and T4 lacks the durability that is needed for extreme brushless power and I've thought that some of you might know how to make them evolve into a state of a bullet proof off road cars and also make them heavier with aluminum, steel, etc. Any help will be most appreciated.

Because I'm using motors that pull them around like papers.

what exactly are you looking to make heavier? you can go with al suspension arms, al towers, al rear plates, al motor guard, al tranny case, al diff gear...defiantly go with lunsford ti tunbuckles and hinge pins....really depends on where are how you want to add weight, there are alot more al parts than what i mentioned.

S^3: everyone wishes they could design modifications like these.

Yes. That is exactly what I'm looking for. Full aluminum parts for my sweet t4 truck. If you know some place that sells such things please tell me as soon as you can Sleepy.

Squeeforever: I'm using the Lehner 1920/8 turn motor with warrior 9920 and 11 cells pack for my T4 and the Lehner 1930/5 turn with Mamba Maxx( as soon as it becomes available) and 12 cells pack for my B4. I think such hopups is needed for such powerful setups. Right?

Beware that aluminum in all places is not the best. I suggest you start with titanium turnbuckles/hingepins and rpm rod ends. Then get aluminum pivot blocks, and beef up your tranny.

Impressive. Need either a woven carbon fiber or aluminum chassis for the car as well.
