Want a new ride.

Okay fellas. I want a new ride. I don't really know what to get. I have an emaxx. I want to stay with brushless. Can you'll give me your input on what you think is the best? I was looking along the lines of stadium truck or buggy.

How about a T4? Those are good trucks, and can handle brushless power.

I have a t4 with 9920 and 1930/5 (now I'm using 1920/8) with 13.2 volts and a full set of ceramic bearings( the stock ones were blown up of the excessive brushless force). I also have the B4 filled with most options in the market along with a 1930/5 motor that was used in the t4( I'm waiting for the Mamba Maxx to come out so I can use it with this motor and make at least go 78mph at 14.4 volts).

The t 4 is made by who. I am not good with the buggy world. Been in the monster truck deal.
Captain that 78 mph sounds awesome. A boy down the road a ways talk trash to me because he running a big block buggy. Not sure on make. He was running some 9 port motor. I would really like to go spank him with electric. I think i could have took the emaxx out there and whopped him down but it didn't handle near like the buggy. I crashed before hand. So that didn't help. Knocked my motor to pieces.

Use a brushless 1/8 buggy then.

The T4 is a stadium truck made by Team Associated( the ones who made the super famous TC3 touring sedans). This truck is tough enough to handle the brushless abuse. Or you can take the B4 buggy made by the same company. These two machines are both two wheel drive and that is why you might find some difficulty in terms of control, but you are truly gonna get serious speed runs with motors Like the Basic 5300 and Feigao 7s at 9.6 volts. Any way, if you feel like you want a more stable off road machine, then go for the Yokomo 4wd MR-4BC Buggies or the Team Losi 4WD buggies as these rigs are much more stable than the two wheel drive ones, but they will need a bit of shorter gear ratio or a more powerful motors. If you want a machine that is a bullet proof at 14.4-16.8 volts with a decent motor and very stable, then an electric converted 1/8th buggy is the way to go.

Thanks captain. I still like the sound of 78 mph. It sound like you have some fast machines. I will look into some of the ones you suggested.

78mph is only theorotical. I still need to calculate the possibility of making it real( I was hoping for 87mph infact, but...). I'll try to post a video here once I make my dream come true. Then I'll work on my RC10L3 and the tb evo4 ms to make the first go 125 mph and the other go at least 91mph. Cheers.

I got a 14lb emaxx to run in the 50s. So buggy should be easier.

What motor are you using?

I was running a 7 xl nemisis on 18 cells. 22 on pinion 66 on spur. I crashed when pulled wheelie at about 50. It was ugly. Knocked motor apart and the pinion gear off the shaft.

Logical enough to get terminated at such speed. I cant even use such motor with 1/10th cars, but probably a 1/8th buggy can handle its power. I wish I can build up a 1/8th buggy with a 1940/6 motor and 6 lithium cells. It needs some money, though.
