emaxx brushless

I have an emaxx and just purchased a fiegao 8XL brushless motor for it I am going to run a mamba max esc and 2 orion 4800 lipos it has the stock spur gear in it and was wondering if anyone could tell me what pinion I should run on it for the best performance. Thanks

Try here. It is a speed calulator. Try for 35-40 mph and run it with the pinion suggested then check for temps.

Just wondering if you have upgraded the slipper? If you have not then you need to. The old pegs used for the Emaxx slipper will melt by changing to the 8xl. I just see you say your keeping the original spur gear.
