Motor Mount for Traxxas REVO - 04.03.2006, 10:17 PM

Motor mount for Traxxas REVO. Mount based on standard Nitro motor housing with gear mesh adjustments in addition to standard electric motor adjustments. Works with most 540-size electric motors; including Lehner and Plettenberg motors with bearing support extending outside front end bell (has 13mm opening).

Details can be obtained via PM.

Nice! I like the fact that it sits high so the motor wires clear the suspension arms, the way the mesh is adjusted, and the fact you can still use the stock handle/rollbar. Good job!

One small suggestion? It seems to me it would look better if the corners (above the motor) were rounded a bit. Purely cosmetic, but I guess would also save a smidgeon of weight.

Check this out, I guess artur is not just an electronics guy...

Did this pre-date the rcm revo mount? Similar in design, but I prefer this one. I like the solid lower block that the L bracket bolts to. Plus it appears that the L bracket is one piece.

Very nice Artur, do you have any more pics of any other custom parts? I will search your threads to see...

Edit: tried searching Griffinru's threads and did not fnd this one... Kinda weird. Does the forum have a problem before dec 2006? Seems like that is the last time threads appear in the list while searching a users threads...

At one point the forum crashed and their were temporary forums for a while. That time frame sounds about right. I think Mike and others tried their best to get everything back kosher but not all made it.

That clears it up. I did think it was strange, like I had found a lost thread...

Thank you,
That is how my REVO start using batteries, then later Mike improved and simplified it. I like to work with Mike!

Since I moved from MI, I do not have much time for RC, trying hard to squeeze some time for electronics.

Hopefully next year I'll get a break...
