bad glitch - RC-Monster Forums

I have gmaxx with 9920, 8xl, UBEC, and liposhield lvc running 5s lipos. For some reason, I'm having really bad glitches with truck when it's running towards me. If truck is running away from me, no glitch. Currently, i have the motor and esc in the back of chassis with UBEC, receiver and steering servo in the front part.

i tried moving the UBEC to the back with esc and motor, situation is a little better but glitching is still there.

any suggestions? thanks!

edit: i have futaba 3pm FM radio with novak xxl receiver.

Capacitor in the 3rd channel plug.

Flip the battery so the leads come out on the opposite side.

Make sure no wires are grounding to the chassis.

Aluminum foil hat :)

Edit: run behind vehicle so it is not coming at you.

could you please elaborate on capacitor in 3rd channel? also, what do you mean by flipping the battery wires? have one lead coming from the front of chassis and another from the back? or route both wires on one side of chassis and servo wires on another?

I'm assuming there is a third channel (or the "battery" channel) plug unused in the reciever. You can put a 10volt 330uf capacitor like this one http://search.digikey.com/scripts/Dk...name=P11184-ND to the power leads (red and black) of a connector and plug it into the reciever. I can get some pic's of one in the next few days (swamped with work right now).

Flipping the batter wires, I mean flipping the battery end to end in the battery tray so that the wires come out on the opposite side from where they come out now. front to rear or left to right, depending on how your tray is orientated.

Seperating the power (batt and motor) leads from the servo/ radio leads is a good idea. I know they recomend that you twist or braid the motor and battery leads as this also reduces radio noise but I havn't heard of that alone fixing anyones glitch problems.
