I am going go get pro-line flat iron tires(or just memory foam) the rock craw;ing chevy c-10 body is there any other things that would be good cheap hop ups that i should put on while building? You will probably want aluminum knuckles and rear lockouts. I broke my rear knuckles pretty fast. Otherwise the shocks suck but will work at first. Everything else is pretty solid- axial did a great job when they made the kit.

Also, pick up a set of lockers. The Axial sintered metal or any aftermarket will do. The aluminum ones in the kit eat out pretty fast.

Don't use the stock tires or body for that matter. Get some Losi Rock Claws or Proline 2.2 Badlands. Bent links, etc are good for it. Check out www.rccrawler.com/forum for a TON of Axial info.
