help with body on ext. chassis. - 11.02.2005, 11:57 AM

Just got a second hand xtreme racing brushless chassis for a very reasonable price. It extends the wheelbase by just over 1 inch. My wheelbase is now about 13.5 inches, and I need a new body.

Does anyone know if the savage bodies will fit my truck better than the pro-line ones? I've been looking at these bodies:

Anyone who has an extended chassis, could they tell me which body they use. Thanks

I thought the stock savage and stock emaxx was same wheel base. Proline makes some extended bodies. Mike has a couple in the store. I got the escalade ext in extended forum.

Peace!

that body is like 8 inch wide and 21 inch long. would probably be past your bumpers. What are you looking for? truck suv or pleazer

an pleazer may be hard. The suv ecalade is a good fit. If I find something I post or pm. Maybe someone else has knowledge of this as well. I like to find some more choices as well.

got choices in the truck line. dodge chevy ford

I may have found some thing for you. A pleazer body for a revo is 18 inch. A maxx pleazer is 17 1/4. That would put the length about right.

have the same chassis.love it. use a proline crowd pleaser with a wing mounted(off of the shock tower) out back...this look completely hides that the body is a slight bit short.......looks great.

This is the cp2 mgt lst tnx. The thing is long and deep, covers side of chassis pretty well. The chassis has the extension. The arms are standard in this pic but the setback arms will go on this weekend. Just tossed this one together as a trial. The wheels ar not even on the suspension. I thought you may like to see a comparison.
