Chargers for Europe(UK) - 12.10.2005, 07:01 PM

Hey pplz,

According to my hobby shop and charger, i cant charge my cells at more than 3 amps from a wall energy source.

Im trying to charge packs of 6 cell and 8 cell GP 3300's at the optimum charge rate(which is how many amps btw?). What chargers shoudl i use for this in europe?( the best, the price shouldnt be a problem)

Sorry for the poor sentences.

Thanks.

the best?

don't know if it makes sence to throw a 7-800 dollars at a charger, if you really want the best?

a good charger is the graupner Duo Pro 30.. (built by Schulze) it goes for about 150-175 dollars.

No, it is a graupner. It is not a schulze.

For 6 or 8 packs, there are other options available too!

They sell the Graupner chargers in the BK store so Mike could order one up for you, within the EU so will skip through customs. You'll need to factor in the cost of a power supply too.

In the UK you can only charge at 3A through the mains (AC).

To do any more Amps, you need a 12v supply, or other power supply, external from the mains.

Don't know why. I have the Triton, about £100, awsome charger does upto 24 cells at once. ;)

that is crap...

it's 230VX3A=690 watts..

that way you are able to deliver 69A at 10 volts.. (69X10=690)

Yeah its really wonky and quite bad for my charging.
Why is that Nick?
Im wondering if its still worth getting a good charger even tho i can only charge at 3 amps?
Maybe you use your car to charge your batts then nick...
